Is the CEESA Career Fair open to undergraduate and graduate students? 

Yes, the CEESA Career Fair is open to all students in the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. 

What sort of opportunities will be there?

Companies attending the career fair will be offering full-time and internship opportunities in many areas of Civil and Environmental Engineering. A booklet will be provided listing the hiring capacity of each company.

What should I do the day of? 

Please print and bring copies of your resume to distribute to employers, dress in business casual, and prepare a few minute introduction about yourself to share when speaking with employers.

For help with resume and cover letter writing, career advice, and mock interview help, please seek guidance from the GECD.

Who plans the Career Fair?

The Civil and Environmental Engineering Career Fair is put on by the Civil and Environmental Engineering Student Association (CEESA) with help from the CEESA Career Fair Committee and the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. 

What is CEESA? How can I get involved?

CEESA is an undergraduate club containing civil and environmental engineering students. CEESA strives to uphold the values of excellence in academic, professional, and social environments. Through career sessions, service projects, educational programs and social functions, we aim to foster a vibrant and supportive community that enables every student to reach his or her highest potential. You can become involved in CEESA by running for a position at the end of the fall term.

What companies are attending? 

The list of companies will become available and will be published in a career fair handbook towards the beginning or middle of February. 

Has the career fair changed from previous years?

This is the third year that we are holding a Networking Reception following the Career Fair. We will also be holding an alumni panel comprised of divserse alumni working across Course 1 related fields exclusively for Course 1 students the week before and the week of the Career Fair.
